Pusan University of Foreign Studies is one of two universities specializing in foreign studies in South Korea. It is located in Pusan, which is the second major city in South Korea, after Seoul. Pusan City is on the east coast of South Korea, and is the primary port for the country. The University was established in 1981, and is now recognized to be the best university for foreign language studies outside of Seoul.

Technology Magazine Concept
These images were developed to a ficticious requirement from a company to produce cover images for bumper issues of its technology magazine "Technology". These were to somehow reflect the four seasons and the theme of technology in some kind of composite way. The following images are the responses to the ficticious scenario.

E.S.L. Textbook Images
These images were for an E.S.L. textbook (conversational English). Students were required to invite their partner to an event in a role-play. The images were required to provide information relevent to the invitation, as well as brighten up the page. They were required to look like advertising posters.

Rotary Club of Tongbaek Pusan  (Ian Isemonger)

General Information on Tongbaek R.C. (District 3660)
The Tongbaek Rotary Club, located in Pusan, South Korea is one of the only two Rotary clubs in South Korea with a genuine multi-citizenship membership. The club includes both Korean nationals, and foreign nationals from as far and wide as Brazil, South Africa, America, Britain, Norway, Sweden, Germany and India.

All meetings are conducted in English. There is only one other club in Korea that has a large proportion of foreign members, and that uses English as the official language for meetings. Tongbaek, R.C. exemplifies the spirit of internationalism promoted by Rotary International. The club is active in serving the local community, and has been involved in various international projects. In addition, the club serves in many ways as a bridgehead to the international Rotary community. For example, the club is always centrally involved in hosting visiting members of the annual G.S.E. (Group Study Exchange) program.
